Why an Authorized Reseller?
DVDO Authorized Resellers & Distributors
When considering a purchase of a DVDO product, you should always look to purchase from an Authorized Reseller. This way you ensure that the reseller you deal with shares our commitment to customer satisfaction and installation of quality products and service.
In addition, DVDO products purchased through our Authorized U.S. Reseller Network are covered by the DVDO standard 1 year warranty. Under the warranty, we will repair or replace units that fail to function properly under normal use due to a manufacturing defect. This warranty does not apply to DVDO products bought from non-authorized dealers and distributors.
Why Buy From an Authorized Reseller?
If you always knew exactly what you wanted, and never needed to ask any questions; if products were totally intuitive, and never defective, a knowlegeable reseller would not be so important. Simply put, you could buy any product from any salesperson. But life is not so easy, and where does that leave you, the customer?
- Will the Reseller give you the help you need to choose the right product for your needs?
- Will the Reseller support the product after the sale?
- Will the manufacturer support the reseller in these efforts after the sale?
- Will you get exactly what you ordered?
DVDO is particular about authorizing resellers. Not everyone qualifies.
- An Authorized Reseller can and will help if your merchandise is defective.
- An Authorized Reseller is trained by the manufacturer and is knowledgeable about the products sold.
- An Authorized Reseller has the full support of the manufacturer.
- An Authorized Reseller typically stocks the merchandise you are looking to purchase.
- An Authorized Reseller is scrutinized by manufacturer prior to authorization.
- An Authorized Reseller must demonstrate the ability to observe proper business practices and be financially responsible.

Warning - NOT Authorized!
DVDO has become aware that certain dealers are selling our products without authorization. Our Authorized reseller network is designed to make sure that you, the customer, receive the utmost quality pre-sale and post-sale support. However, DVDO is not able to make that same commitment for purchases made through other non-Authorized resellers.
IF THE PRODUCT IS PURCHASED FROM AN UNAUTHORIZED DEALER OR DISTRIBUTOR, THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND THIS PRODUCT IS SOLD STRICTLY “AS IS” AND “WITH ALL FAULTS”.
Unauthorized dealers frequently sell stock that has been acquired by questionable means, including equipment that may be pre-used, damaged, or even stolen. Watch for worn/opened boxes, missing parts, lack of warranty card, or defaced serial numbers. Removal or alteration of the original DVDO serial number will automatically void the warranty on that product.
Many unauthorized dealers do not provide after-sale support or service, or if they do are ill-equipped to perform that function. In fact, a non-Authorized dealer is in a poor position to deal with service issues, since they do not have specific knowledge and training in DVDO products, nor do they have access to genuine DVDO replacement parts.
